Let me introduce myself: I’m Lapo, the pet manager at Boffenigo Panorama & Experience Hotel.
If this is the perfect place for a pet-friendly stay, the credit is all mine.
Well, not exactly all, but let’s say it’s thanks to my supervision.
I’m actually the one who makes sure our little furry friends are always comfortable and treated as VIPs (Very Important Pets), and that they enjoy the most exclusive modern amenities.
But let’s go back a bit: as I was saying, my name’s Lapo and I’m an extremely handsome Welsh Corgi.
My parents were from Wales, but I’ve chosen to live in a rather smarter place: Lake Garda.
I need relaxation, lots of attention and beautiful surroundings and, after moving around a lot, I found what I was looking for at Boffenigo Panorama & Experience Hotel. Here I found a friendly, sophisticated atmosphere, just what I needed.
The staff are very kind to me (and to everyone, I must say), and I’m really happy here. It’s an extraordinary area and I can go for long, relaxing walks (I have such a hard life!) on fantastic routes around the lake.
I love cuddles by the pool and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere here at Boffenigo, while admiring the views of Lake Garda. Everyone loves me and pampers me…I couldn’t ask for more!
However, a dog can’t live on cuddles alone, and after being here a while, I decided it was time to find a job and finally become a grown-up pet.
And so my career as a pet manager began. In practical terms, I look after all the services provided for my (and your) four-legged friends.
There are 4 parts to my job:
1. Analysing the trends: I travel a lot and seek out the latest trends in pet hospitality all over the world
2. Proposals for management: I interact directly with the hotel management team to work out which strategies to put in place so that my peers will feel welcome and comfortable here at the hotel
3. Staff training: yes, I’m the one who teaches the hotel staff how to handle our furry guests. They’re already pretty good at it, you know. But thanks to my advice, they’re improving every day
4. Monitoring: I keep an eye on everything and personally ensure that it all runs smoothly and that my canine friends have an unforgettable experience at Boffenigo!
As you see, it’s a tough job with a lot of responsibility, but I approach it with a smile (like all true professionals) and I have to say that the satisfaction is priceless.
Here are some of the services that are available for all pets, thanks to my tireless efforts!
Special room types with wooden floors; you can choose a view of the hills or the garden.
We also have a special section of the garden all for us: a large space for playing, getting to know each other, scampering about and… doing our business with complete hygiene, tranquility (and, I might add, privacy).
In the other part of the garden, we can stay quietly on the lead with our bipeds, and relax in the sunshine next to them: they know they must stay close by!
Ah, last but not least, we have to respect some simple rules to make our holiday in Lake Garda special and perfect.
