5 reasons to choose and enjoy local products

SUSTAINABILITY: choosing local products is a great way to reduce waste and pollution.
This is because the use of transport fuels and shipping costs are reduced, limiting CO2 emissions into the air. But it also means saving water (especially in the case of fruit and vegetables), packaging and even the energy needed for washing and packaging.

REDISCOVERY: Giving local products an extra chance is a wonderful opportunity to rediscover traditional local recipes and the ancient flavours that can only be achieved with what comes from, is grown and eaten in the area of origin. In this way it is also possible to offer more attention to the final customer who will taste those dishes and fall in love with them!

FRESHNESS: freshness also has another value thanks to the zero kilometre, because food that arrives in just a few minutes, instead of a few days, is not subjected to excessive temperature changes and therefore maintains both its flavour and its valuable nutritional properties intact, without the need to add preservatives.

Lake Garda in our dishes

Lake Garda is famous for the beauty it offers at every glance and the goodness of its raw materials, excellent for creating a varied menu, full of genuine surprises and timeless traditional recipes.

Fish, for example, is a fundamental element, much loved in the Garda area and which you can also enjoy thanks to our cuisine. You can try pike with grilled polenta, trout marinated in citrus fruits or lake trout rollatina with pink pepper, and spaghetti with lake sardines and light red turnip pesto.

Meat also has an important place on our menu, from the sliced veal arrostino with tuna sauce, to the carpaccio of carne salà, with black Baldo truffle and sweet caciotta cheese.
The beef is a must, with fillet steak browned in butter and porcini mushrooms, or the half-kilo grilled rib eye.

Pasta lovers are spoilt for choice when they sit down at the Boff Terrace. For those who have never tried them, the tortellini di Valeggio on a cream of courgette and confit tomatoes are a joy to the palate, as are the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and black Baldo truffles. What about the ricotta and spinach gnocchi with tomato fondue and Monte Veronese flakes? We are dreaming at the very thought!

A proper dinner does not end without a good dessert. We are partial to the small Verona cake with vanilla sauce and the shortcrust pastry slice with fresh fruit. And for those who particularly appreciate classic desserts we have the irresistible tiramisu and the delicate berry panna cotta.
